DBHR Office of Consumer Partnerships
The Mission of the Office of Consumer Partnerships (OCP) The mission of the OCP is to promote recovery and resilience for all people in the public behavioral health system. The Office of Consumer Partnerships was established to ensure that recovery oriented services and initiatives are integrated into all aspects of the Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery’s (DBHR) planning, policy, and practice. The responsibilities include: Representation of the behavioral health community in internal agency planning activities; Facilitation of active participation and communication between DBHR and individuals, families, and organizations in the recovery community; Support of the development and growth of peer-run services and organizations, and other peer services and supports. Leadership in promoting the principles of recovery and resilience throughout Washington State.
